Privacy Policy

Here at ‘The Reunion App’ we take privacy and security very seriously. We are very committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. By accessing or using our services or app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this policy. Please familiarize yourself with the following terms before reading this privacy statement: (1) The ‘Organizer’ – the organizer is the individual who is organizing or hosting the event. The organizer is the individual responsible for posting the event information on ‘The Reunion App’. (2) The ‘Participant’ – the participant is the individual(s) that is attending the event. (3) The term ‘we’ refers to the developers and owners of ‘The Reunion App’.

Participant

‘The Reunion App’ does require a profile name for each participant. It is suggested that the profile name should be a name that others will be able to identify you. It is not necessary that you use your given name, but it is recommended. Your profile name will be seen by other participants in the group chat. When purchasing items or registering for an event you are required to put a name in the field that says ‘First Name’ and also a name in the field ‘Last Name’. You are not required to use your given name, but use a name that your organizer will be able to identify you. Other info such as street address, city, state, ZIP , email, and phone are not required by ‘The Reunion App’, but may be needed by the Organizer. You also have the option to enter your guest or attendee name and age as well. This information isn’t required by ‘The Reunion App’, but may be required by the Organizer. If submitted, this information will be stored in a database. ‘The Reunion App’ will not share this information with any other party or entity. However, this information will be available to the Organizer for planning purposes. All payment or credit card information is handled by Square and is not seen by ‘The Reunion App’. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so by using the ‘Delete Account’ button on your profile page.

Organizer

The Organizer will be asked to provide information only if they agree to purchase a Process Payment Plan for their event. The Process Payment Plan allows the participants to pay for registration or items such as T-shirts through the app. However, the Organizer should provide the following information: first name, last name, and email address. This information is needed if there are issues with the process payment request. All other information such as the street address, city, state, zip, and phone number is not required but recommended. All payment or credit card information is handled by Square and is not seen by ‘The Reunion App’. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so by using the ‘Delete Account’ button on your profile page.
